I'm Federico Francolini and I live in Viterbo, the capital of Tuscia. I started The Tuscia Experience because the questions friends from abroad ask me are always the same — which hot springs are actually free, how to get to Civita di Bagnoregio without a car, whether Bomarzo is worth it — and the answers online are scattered, outdated or written by people who have never been here.
This site is the answer I give them: practical, honest guides to a corner of Italy that most visitors to Rome never see. Where I'm not sure that a timetable or price is still current, I say so and link to the official source.
